In recent years, Kimpur, Turkey's first fully domestically-owned polyurethane systems house, has gained recognition through its investments and sector awards. Beyond the polyurethane systems it produces for shoe soles and slippers, the company has expanded its product portfolio to include thermoplastic compounds, leveraging its existing sales network and customer base to achieve organic and geographic growth and serve a broader market.   KIMplas Special Solutions, as these products are named, are elastomer-modified, EVA-based, expandable and cross-linkable compounds engineered to enhance softness, hardness, opacity and silky soft-touch properties according to customer requirements. They are characterized by low density and tailor-made colors. Kimpur, through its subsidiary Kimplast Granül San. ve Tic. A.Ş., launched production in 2020 of EVA Compound products marketed under the KIMplas Special Solutions brand. These high-quality materials are suitable for shoe uppers, midsoles, insoles, outsoles, slippers and similar applications. The company has conducted effective R&D and achieved a significant market position in a short time through high customer satisfaction levels. Soles and slippers manufactured with KIMplas Special Solutions maintain high aesthetic and design appeal while exceeding expectations in the required mechanical and physical properties. Strong customer satisfaction and demand have prompted the company to undertake new investments. It aims to complete these expansion phases rapidly to achieve the highest production capacity established in Turkey. This will enable the company to serve its local market customers while pursuing rapid growth in global markets.
