Dow Launches New INNATE™ TF Polyethylene Resins
Dow, meeting the sector's demands for high performance, consumer comfort and recyclability, has introduced its innovative and groundbreaking brand to the INNATE ™ Precision Packaging Resins family.
INNATE ™ TF Polyethylene Resins for Tenter Frame Biaxial Orientation brings a long-desired packaging target to commercial applicability; tenter frame biaxially oriented polyethylene (TF-BOPE) films.
Compared with conventional polyethylene (PE) films, TF-BOPE film produced with INNATE ™ TF Polyethylene Resins for Tenter Frame exhibits higher mechanical properties and material stiffness, better optical and print performance.
It offers significant sustainability advantages, including the potential for fully PE structures for recyclability.
A more sustainable packaging solution
INNATE ™ TF Polyethylene Resins for Tenter Frame Biaxial Orientation also feature distinctive physical properties that enable material substitution to reduce overall packaging materials, elimination of film layers and/or downgauging. TF-BOPE film can be used directly as the printed layer of the packaging, which allows for a combination of PE functional layers to achieve a fully PE structure, making it more suitable for recycling and increasing the sustainability ratio.
