DOMO and Ultrapolimerler Expand Distribution Partnership

Leading engineering materials producer DOMO Chemicals has announced a distribution partnership with pan-European distributor Ultrapolymerles. The acquisition of Solvay's European Performance Polyamides business (Polytechnyl) by DOMO has created a change in the Technyl® product distribution structure. As of 1 May 2020, in addition to DOMO's product range, Ultrapolymers will operate as the company's pan-European distributor for Technyl® products. Ultrapolymers, part of the Ravago Group, is a polymer distributor established in Belgium in October 2002. With 27 legal entities in Europe, Turkey and South Africa, Ultrapolymers sells to customers in more than 40 countries. Its 45 warehouses are strategically positioned close to customers for secure and rapid delivery. Marc Swatosch, Regional Product Manager Europe at Ultrapolymers, said: "Through this partnership with DOMO, one of the biggest players in the polyamide market, we will be able to expand our presence across all European countries with the highest quality PA6 and PA66 portfolio. Ultrapolymers' existing DOMAMID® and ECONAMID® customers can now expect to enjoy the same service standards with an even wider offering." In addition to being Europe's second-largest polyamide producer, DOMO has focused on developing sustainable solutions. With the acquisition of Polytechnyl, the company has significantly expanded its sustainable product range. It has added the Technyl® 4Earth® product to its portfolio, which was developed using recycled airbag fabric waste.
