BASF Polyurethane Enhances Timberland PRO Reaxion Safety Footwear

BASF's polyurethane (PU) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) are key components strengthening the new Timberland PRO® Reaxion safety footwear with the latest innovation for industrial workers. The Reaxion protective shoe features Timberland's proprietary Aerocore™ Energy System and combines the comfort and flexibility of an athletic shoe with the performance and durability of a work shoe. Vice President of Product Creation at Timberland PRO Bert Spiller said, "We wanted to give workers a new shoe experience. The Aerocore Energy System consists of three layers.

Anti-Fatigue Technology insole, foam midsole, and non-marking outsole. These layers work together to provide superior energy return, comfort and grip. This feature creates a versatile work shoe and makes Timberland PRO Reaxion ideal for indoor work such as warehousing and manufacturing, as well as outdoor work in construction and other fields.
