KATCON GLOBAL Named 2021 Supplier of the Year General Motors (GM) has selected KATCON, which operates in the technology and automotive sectors, as its 2021 Supplier of the Year.

The Supplier of the Year award recognizes global suppliers that exceed GM's requirements and stand out by delivering innovative technologies and the highest quality in the automotive sector to their customers. This year, GM honored 134 suppliers from 16 countries as Suppliers of the Year. KATCON received this award for the fourth time. "We Earned This Award by Navigating an Extremely Complex Path"

KATCON CEO Carlos Turner commented on the matter: "This award is proof of the confident and resilient mindset of our company's workforce around the world. We earned this award having navigated an extremely complex environment for our sector. We dedicate this award to all our employees and suppliers. The awarding company was our first customer 30 years ago, and we are committed to providing them with solutions in exhaust and finishing, thermal management and lightweight composite materials for the next 30 years. We are very excited about our product diversification, including lightweight advanced material products and battery housings, which aligns with our digitalization plans and GM's long-term strategy," he said.
