Aksa Doğalgaz wins 'Consumer Satisfaction-Oriented Company' award at this year's consumer awards organized by the Ministry of Commerce. Aksa Doğalgaz, serving nearly 5 million subscribers across 27 provinces, 260 districts and towns with an excellence-driven consumer satisfaction principle, received the award at the consumer awards held this year at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
Aksa Doğalgaz Board Chairman Yaşar Arslan made the following remarks on the matter;
'For 20 years, we have been implementing investments in line with our principle of maintaining consumer satisfaction at the highest level, and we place emphasis on digital transformation efforts to continuously improve our service quality. Together with artificial intelligence-based solutions that we will deploy in the coming period, we aim to provide our subscribers with a richer and more effective customer experience by continuously measuring the customer experience journey at all our touchpoints.' Extending his thanks to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Commerce Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Arslan said that the award they received holds great significance for Aksa Doğalgaz and serves as an effective motivation source to always deliver better results. Arslan noted that as Aksa Doğalgaz, serving Turkey's widest geographical distribution area, they move forward by drawing strength from the experience and accumulated knowledge of Kazancı Holding spanning over half a century while providing natural gas supply to nearly 5 million subscribers across 27 provinces, 260 districts and towns in the safest manner possible. Stating that they implement all operational processes with the goal of excellent customer satisfaction, Arslan said, 'For 20 years, we have been implementing investments in line with our principle of maintaining consumer satisfaction at the highest level, and we place emphasis on digital transformation efforts to continuously improve our service quality. Together with artificial intelligence-based solutions that we will deploy in the coming period, we aim to provide our subscribers with a richer and more effective customer experience by continuously measuring the customer experience journey at all our touchpoints.'
Emphasizing that they take steps with awareness of the responsibility to set direction in the sector, Arslan noted the following;
'We continue our work with responsibility and passion towards our business, our country, people and nature. Given the sensitivity of our operational field, we structure our operations to be on duty 7/24. We work continuously to serve a population of 16.6 million, 6.2 million potential subscribers across 27 provinces, 260 districts and towns, and we continue to grow through investments and expand the areas we have reached with the goal of bringing comfortable living to more households. Today, our network length has reached 42,000 kilometers, and our market share has reached 21 percent. Our extensive office network, mobile branches, and corporate online transaction channels, particularly the e-Government platform, provide uninterrupted service to our subscribers, and through our Solution Center at 444 4 187 and our 187 Natural Gas Emergency Line, we provide quick solutions to the requests and demands of our subscribers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.'
A more livable world for future generations
Expressing that they implement their activities with the goal of a sustainable world, Arslan said, 'Kazancı Holding and its Group Companies set examples in important matters such as the sustainability of natural resources, reducing waste to minimal levels, and preventing soil, air and water pollution to leave a more livable world for future generations. As part of this established structure, we position the sustainability approach at the center of all our processes. Our Carbon Tracking Project was born from this perspective; we have begun preliminary preparation and feasibility studies to calculate and report the greenhouse gas emission rate resulting from our activities directly or indirectly, and we will certify our data following verification as of 2024. Additionally, with the use of natural gas in our licensed area, carbon emissions were reduced by 9.3 million tons in just one year. This figure is equivalent to the amount that could be cleaned by a forest consisting of nearly 392 million trees, and it also means we have neutralized the carbon emissions of approximately 1 million people.'
Providing information on the research and development work they conduct for more environmentally friendly alternatives, Arslan continued;
'In parallel with Europe, we launched the Renewable Gas Production Research and Development Project two years ago to increase the use of zero-emission hydrogen and diversify Turkey's energy supply security. The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and EPDK follow this work closely. In our project implemented within GAZBİR-GAZMER, we are blending hydrogen at a rate of 20 percent into natural gas. Within the scope of our project, hydrogen not only takes on the task of carbon removal, but when supply is abundant, renewable energy can be used as a storage and transmission medium. We aim to develop our work and establish a hydrogen village.' Source
