IZAYDAŞ Laboratory Assigned Important Role

Important Assignment for İZAYDAŞ Laboratory The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, through the Environmental Impact Assessment Licensing and Inspection Directorate, has assigned remote inspection responsibility for environmental laboratories to İZAYDAŞ Laboratory. Within the scope of the Environmental Measurement and Analysis Laboratories Competence Regulation, remote inspection activities organized by the Environmental Reference Laboratory, in which environmental laboratories must participate, will now be conducted in cooperation between İZAYDAŞ Laboratory and the Ministry. İZAYDAŞ Laboratory, the first in Turkey to be accredited to ISO 17043 standard in environmental testing, signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry. General Director Muhammet Saraç, Deputy General Director İsmail Uludağ and İZAYDAŞ Laboratory Chief Erkan Baysal, along with Ministry officials, signed this agreement, which has assigned an important responsibility to İZAYDAŞ Laboratory in remote inspection and proficiency testing conducted by the Ministry. İZAYDAŞ (Izmit Waste and Residue Treatment Incineration and Recovery Co.) was established in 1996 by the Izmit Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Izmit Environmental Integrated Project. Beginning to accept waste from 1997, İZAYDAŞ is a 100% subsidiary of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. The Laboratory, established within İZAYDAŞ in 1996, began operations that same year. As one of the first laboratories established in its field, İZAYDAŞ Laboratory holds a "special" position and value in the sector due to its advanced equipment, quality service, expert personnel and reliability.The thousands of waste analyses conducted to date continue to increase İZAYDAŞ's experience. İZAYDAŞ laboratory combines its experience in waste analysis with the modern measurement equipment and infrastructure facilities required by the service, where the principles of "quality control, confidentiality and independence" hold paramount importance.
