Laboratory Ecosystem in Drug Development
LiVeritas Biosciences, Inc. announced the beta testing of LiLii™, a next-generation, fully integrated laboratory ecosystem that uses proprietary LiVeritas® AI (artificial intelligence) to simplify workflows, reduce inefficiencies and facilitate productivity across all stages of pharmaceutical development.
LiLii™, a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for analytical laboratory operations and project management, empowers pharmaceutical developers of all sizes through streamlined data processing, analysis and reporting via a single seamless, intuitive interface when its analytical tools are combined with an artificial intelligence biopharmaceutical knowledge base.
The LiLii platform promises to significantly accelerate pharmaceutical development speed by producing superior quality data and analytics faster, while eliminating the need for multiple software packages.
On the operations side, the LiLii platform integrates project management, CRM (customer relationship management), document management and communication capabilities. The conversion of sample information into scientifically useful information is instantaneous, significantly reducing the time required for project initiation and setup, while minimizing the risk of errors that may occur during manual entry of customer and laboratory-generated information.
Using the LiLii platform, pharmaceutical developers can process sample data at least 15 times faster than traditional, manual methods based on fragmented tools and siloed workflows, thus achieving more cost-effective results with lower risk and superior data integrity.
Dr. Nina Cortina, Co-founder and Vice President of Technology Development at LiVeritas, said, "The LiLii platform centralizes communication under a single digital touchpoint instead of customers communicating with LiVeritas through multiple separate channels."
"Our platform serves as an information hub, ensuring data consistency between customer and LiVeritas with complete transparency and traceability, and enabling our team to conduct analytical services faster, more efficiently and optimally."
In addition to its capability to develop internal testing operations for biopharmaceuticals, the LiLii platform can be integrated into any analytical testing laboratory regardless of industry. Artificial intelligence capabilities elevate end users' access to highly sought-after but increasingly scarce analytical skill sets.
Lieza Danan, Ph.D., Co-founder and CEO of LiVeritas Biosciences, said, "The LiLii platform is the realization of a holistic vision I developed while managing mass spectrometry and analytical development functions in the biopharmaceutical field.
Instead of fragmented tools of the past, I needed optimized, automated workflows that would serve the urgent needs of various pharmaceutical development functions," and continued as follows:
"Our founding team has complementary backgrounds in chemistry, computer engineering and more than 100 years of analytical testing experience. Together, we have created a scalable, technology-enabled platform that provides end users with the power to rapidly produce consistent, superior quality data for actionable insights that will unlock value in Biopharmaceutical Industry 4.0 and beyond."
The architecture of the LiLii platform is modular and scalable. This modular approach enables a business to interface the LiLii platform with an existing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to directly support its strategy.
