Two functions are therefore critical for operations: measuring and controlling. In chemical production, the venue where these functions materialize is the laboratory. The importance of laboratories has grown alongside concepts such as innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and differentiated products. Indeed, profitability—an indispensable factor for any enterprise—is now determined in the laboratory. Yokeş® Makina's VBR Series equipment are multi-purpose machines designed for use in pre-production laboratory work and small-scale manufacturing. Thanks to interchangeable working heads, they can function across a broad volume range as a Dissolver/Disperser, a laboratory-scale Basket Mill, and a laboratory-scale Rotor Stator Mixer/Homogenizer. The VBR Series, owing to its compact design, powerful motor, effective speed control, and equipment, can be effectively used in research and development laboratories for high-speed dispersion and wet grinding operations on small product quantities. Its installation and use are straightforward because it can be mounted on a rigid table or work bench and requires only 220V - 50 Hz power supply. Machine details have been carefully optimized to enable one-to-one simulation of process-scale equipment parameters in the laboratory environment. Thanks to easily replaceable working heads, switching between machine operating modes is highly practical. Laboratory testing of operations performed on all production-scale equipment can be accomplished with a single machine. Through the PLC control system provided as standard on the machine, the operator can control and observe all process parameters via a TFT-LCD touchscreen panel. • Infinitely variable speed control system with frequency converter. • Button-controlled mechanical and electronic motor start-stop system. • Precision vibration-free operation even at maximum speed, thanks to robust frame construction. • High-surface-quality stainless steel mixing shaft, disks, basket system components, clamp arms, and base plate for easy cleaning. • Strong clamp system enabling safe operation across all volumes, and an automatic centering system that pulls the container to the shaft axis upon each opening and closing after the clamp pads are adjusted for the container being used. • Option to use complete stainless steel, water-cooled containers. (Sand-Cup) • Touchscreen TFT-LCD controlled user interface coupled to the machine housing. (Machine is PLC controlled.) • Monitoring and control of operating parameters. (Product temperature, process time, total operating time, main motor data, disk peripheral speeds, etc.) The standard machine is supplied with a Dissolver working head and four differently sized disperser disks. In addition, the aforementioned basket mill and homogenizer functions are realized through optionally supplied working heads.   1) Basket Mill Working Heads Designed for use of the machine in batch-type wet grinding processes, these are easily removable and installable working heads with aluminum covers, manhole access, and spring-loaded design. Manufactured entirely from stainless steel, the Basket Mill working head is water-cooled and enables simulation of all parametric and characteristic properties of a process-type machine used in production. A turbine-type suction fan coupled beneath the basket provides strong suction. Various types of grinding balls can be used within the basket.   2) Rotor – Stator High Shear Mixer / Homogenizer Working Heads Designed for use of the machine as a High Shear rotor-stator mixer/homogenizer, these are easily removable and installable working heads with aluminum covers and spring-loaded design. Manufactured entirely from stainless steel, the Rotor Stator working head can be configured in different styles depending on the intended application. (Perforated, slotted, stainless steel mesh, etc.) 3) Vacuum-Type Dissolver and Basket Mill Working Heads and External Vacuum Pump For processes requiring operation under vacuum, these are spring-loaded "Dissolver" or "Basket Mill" working heads with completely leak-proof stainless steel covers, vacuum suction equipment, vacuum gauge, vacuum-suitable shaft seal system, designed to be fitted to the standard machine and used with standard Sand-Cups. All product-contact components are high-quality stainless steel.
