BTSO EVM's Energy Efficiency Accreditation Expanded The Energy Efficiency Center (EVM) affiliated with Bursa Chamber of Commerce has added 'Air Compressor Flow Rate Measurement' parameter to its energy efficiency accreditation, establishing itself as the first and only center in Turkey with this authority. The Energy Efficiency Center (EVM) operating under the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expanded its energy efficiency measurement accreditation. BTSO EVM became Turkey's first laboratory accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Body (TÜRKAK) for the 'Air Compressor Flow Rate Measurement' service.

First Turkish Laboratory with This Accreditation

BTSO EVM works to raise awareness of energy efficiency in the business world through audit, training, measurement, consulting and energy management system services. In this regard, BTSO EVM continues its activities to enable industrial facilities to achieve maximum efficiency and minimum energy consumption without compromising on quality. With this latest step, BTSO EVM became Turkey's first laboratory to hold accreditation for 'Air Compressor Flow Rate Measurement'.

Will Contribute to Reducing Energy Costs Across Sectors

BTSO EVM Manager Canpolat Çakal provided clarification on the matter. Çakal noted that the 'Air Compressor Flow Rate Measurement' service will contribute to reducing energy costs across sectors. Çakal stated: "Compressed air is used extensively in industry. It is necessary to measure how many cubic meters of air per hour these energy-intensive machines deliver to the system and how much energy they consume in return. Through our measurement work, we can calculate the unit cost of the air produced relative to the energy consumed by the compressor. Measuring these two data points is of critical importance for facilities. BTSO EVM offers significant opportunities to companies for a strong industry. Measurement Services Performed According to Internationally Recognized Reference Standards

Operating in an area of 500 square meters, BTSO EVM's facility houses cooling units, furnace and chiller unit, steam unit, compressed air, pump unit and lighting unit. The measurement services provided by BTSO EVM are performed according to internationally recognized reference standards, and the reports prepared accordingly are valid in all countries with which TÜRKAK accreditation mutual recognition agreements have been signed.
