Advanced Energy Announces Opening of Advanced Materials Processing Showcase Laboratory
Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (AE), a leading global provider of advanced engineering, precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions, announced the opening of its Advanced Materials Processing (AMP) Showcase Laboratory near Frankfurt, Germany.
The modern facility in Karlstein am Main houses office and laboratory spaces for plasma deposition and materials characterization. The laboratory will serve as a central location for AE product demonstrations and customer plasma deposition research and development activities, providing an outstanding experience for thin film developers. Germany's geographic location offers convenience for AE's international customers. This new advanced technology laboratory represents an indicator of AE's expanding R&D capabilities, including a recently launched collaboration with Grenzebach GmbH's demo laboratory in Hamlar.
