Yellow Wood to Acquire Elida Beauty from Unilever
Unilever announces binding offer from Yellow Wood Partners LLC to acquire Elida Beauty.
Elida Beauty houses more than 20 beauty and personal care brands, including Q-Tips, Caress, Timotei and Tigi. The company generated approximately EUR 0.8 billion in revenue in 2022.
Unilever Personal Care President Fabian Garcia made the following statement on the matter: "This marks another step towards optimizing our Personal Care portfolio. Our priority is to accelerate the growth of our strong brands by investing in key strategic focus areas such as securing unassailable brand advantages and scaling multi-year innovations.
Elida Beauty's portfolio consists of iconic and classic beauty and personal care brands. I am confident that under the new management executing the acquisition, they will continue to grow and serve consumers in North America and Europe."

The binding offer is subject to customary closing conditions, legal requirements and consultation processes. The anticipated completion date is mid-2024. The financial terms of the binding offer have not been disclosed.
