MG International held a scent workshop at Sabancı University's festival
MG International Fragrance Company organized a fragrance workshop at the Sakura Festival held by Sabancı University.
At Sabancı University, which hosts over a thousand Sakura trees and thus possesses Turkey's largest Sakura population, the "Sakura Festival" event took place under the "Promise to the Future" scholarship program. MG International Fragrance Company participated in the festival and organized a fragrance workshop.
The festival, held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japan-Turkey diplomatic relations, aims to support talented and financially disadvantaged youth studying at Sabancı University under the "Promise to the Future" scholarship program in continuing their success. The festival was attended by Güler Sabancı, Founding Trustee Board Chair of Sabancı University; Katsumata Takahiko, Ambassador of Japan to Turkey; Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici, Rector of Sabancı University; Ali Çalışkan, Secretary General of Sabancı University; Güler Sabancı's friends from the business and academic worlds; and numerous distinguished guests.
Kasahara Kenichi, Consul General of Japan; Yasunori Sakamoto, General Manager of Mitsubishi; Ali Haydar Bozkurt, CEO of Toyota; Athisiko Chikuhama, Board Chair of Bolez Tavuk; Takashi Kisimoto, General Manager of Itochu; Tomio Fukuzimi, Japan Representative Executive of Bridgestone; and Shigeru Yamaguchi, General Manager of Marubeni, were among the guests attending the festival.
MG International team provided personalized attention to guests and offered a fragrance experience
Ahmet Baydar, R&D Director at MG International; Duygu Beşbıçak, Corporate Communications Manager; Edip Göktuğ Kumral, Junior Perfumer; and the creation team participated in the festival. The MG International team, hosting Güler Sabancı and close friends at the "Discover Your Fragrance" workshop, provided personalized attention to guests and offered a fragrance experience.
At the "Discover Your Fragrance" workshop conducted beneath the Sakura trees on campus under Güler Sabancı's hospitality, participants created their own fragrance blends using fragrance kits consisting of two base notes and 12 separate accords with the MG International perfumer team.
Centennial fragrance prepared from Atatürk's last fragrance received high praise
At the festival held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japan-Turkey diplomatic relations, special gifts prepared from the last fragrance used by Atatürk in his room at Dolmabahçe Palace were presented to Güler Sabancı and her friends who participated in the "Discover Your Fragrance" workshop and received great appreciation. A special Sakura fragrance for the Sakura Festival was also prepared by MG International perfumers and generated significant interest among participants.
