Third Generation Vegan Collagen COLiance - Hydrolyzed Collagen is the main structural protein in the extracellular matrix found in various connective tissues of the body. It is composed of amino acids linked together to form the triple helix of longitudinal fibrils known as the collagen helix. With age, the ability to regenerate collagen naturally declines at approximately 1.0 - 1.5 percent per year. Above the age of 50, collagen levels begin to drop rapidly and collagen structure becomes more fragile. It causes weakening of hair and hair roots.
