Iberchem Opens New Creative Centre Croda International Plc subsidiary Iberchem, a fragrance producer, has inaugurated its new creative centre in Jakarta, Indonesia. Iberchem General Manager José Balibrea, Croda Fragrances Vice President Richard Butler and officials from Spain's Embassy in Indonesia attended the opening ceremony to mark this new milestone for the company in the country. The facility will support growing local demand and encompass operations for both Iberchem and Scentium, the company's aroma division. Located in the western part of Jakarta, in the Tokopedia Tower, the centre features sampling and application laboratories as well as testing cabinets for personal care and home care products. The new 900-square-metre centre also hosts an expanded team of fragrance technicians and specialists, with a market-specialised perfumer working full-time. Management, sales and marketing teams have moved to the new office, while production and quality control will remain at the Tangerang facility. Iberchem General Manager José Balibrea commented on the new centre. Balibrea stated: "This new facility represents a significant achievement in our 2025 strategy to strengthen our operations in high-growth markets. It also demonstrates Indonesia's importance and relevance to our company. This creative centre positions us favourably to further reinforce our long-term growth."
