Natural Preservative New Product; BIO-Cide ECO
BIO-Cide ECO, a natural preservative produced using unique fermentation technology created by Labio, is 100% natural plant-based fermented lactobacillus. Its main characteristics are water solubility and preservation effectiveness.
It is antibacterial and potent against a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms. It operates across a wide pH range: pH 4.5 - 9. Its composition consists of Lactobacillus ferment and glycerin. The product's own pH is 6.0 ± 1.0. Applications include mist sprays, skin tonics, and skin serum ampoules, with a recommended usage dose of 3-3.5%. Lactobacillus is a microorganism type observed in plants, dairy products, or the human intestine.
It prevents the entry and multiplication of harmful bacteria. In addition to preservation effectiveness, it helps prevent aging.
(Figure 1) Test 1 Challenge Test (antibacterial)
Clear zone test: Applied BIO-Cide ECO 3.0%
When 3% BIO-Cide ECO is applied to bacterial and fungal strains applied to the clear zone, the strains are eliminated.
Test 2 (Challenge Test)
Test group: Areas with and without BIO-Cide ECO applied at 3.0%. Subject: 10 randomly selected general office workers who had not washed their hands and had not used any cosmetic product within 3 hours. Test method: 1) Agar plates are prepared by bringing into contact with the palms of test subjects, and 3% BIO-Cide ECO solution is applied to each plate and dried. The effect of BIO-Cide ECO is observed by completing the necessary incubations with temperature. Test 5 Confirmation that no strain was detected between pH 4.5 and 9 one week after inoculation. Microorganism inoculation: 1 ~ 2 x 10⁵ CFU/ml Test 6: Stability Test. Observation of changes through storage according to temperature conditions, storage exposed to light.
