World Medicine Takes Second Place at Export Stars Awards Ceremony

Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association's 'Export Stars Awards 2021' have found their recipients. World Medicine, achieving major success as in the previous year, secured second place in the pharmaceutical export category. World Medicine Board Vice Chairman Sohrab Mammadov stated, "As World Medicine, we continue our efforts without slowing down to be the pharmaceutical company that contributes the most to Turkey's economy. Our goal is to be the single brand that comes to mind when pharmaceutical exports are mentioned." The Export Stars Awards, organized by Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB) to honor and encourage member companies in the chemical sector for their export achievements, have announced their winners. At this year's seventh edition of İKMİB Export Stars Awards 2021, World Medicine secured second place in the pharmaceutical export category, once again ranking in the top three. Taking the stage to receive the award, World Medicine Board Vice Chairman Sohrab Mammadov said, "World Medicine has been operating since 2011 and as of 2022, we export to 35 countries. We have been recognized with numerous awards through our investments and initiatives in the export sector. With the successful performance we demonstrated in exports in 2019, we came in second place in İKMİB's 'Export Stars - Pharmaceutical Export' category. We targeted the top position and structured our plans accordingly, moving up to first place in 2020. Today, as we continue our journey step by step, we are continuing with the second-place award as a reflection of our efforts." Sohrab Mammadov concluded his remarks by saying, "We work hard every year to become Turkey's largest pharmaceutical exporter. As World Medicine, we continue our efforts without slowing down to be the pharmaceutical company that contributes the most to Turkey's economy.
