Ülker Named 'Wellness Brand'
Ülker, a leading brand in the food sector, achieved first place for the third consecutive year in the snacks category in the "Good Life Brands 2020" research conducted by Nielsen for Sustainable Brands Turkey.
According to the results of the 'Good Life Brands 2020 Research', which focuses on Turkish consumers' lifestyles, consumption habits, and values that redefine and shape good living, Ülker was selected first in the snacks category for the third consecutive year.
Conducted by Nielsen for Sustainable Brands Turkey, the research aimed to highlight brands connected with good living and posed the question to consumers: "Which company or brand in this sector do you think tries hardest to help consumers achieve a good life?" Ülker succeeded in ranking first for the third consecutive time.
At the digitally organized ceremony, the award was received by Aslı Özen Turhan, Chief Marketing Officer of Ülker Turkey, and Süheyl Aybar, Vice President of Ülker Operational Excellence, Health and Safety, Quality and Sustainability.
Speaking at the ceremony, Aslı Özen Turhan said: "Being recognized for this award for the third consecutive time is very important to us. We manage iconic brands that hold an important place in the lives of many people in Turkey. Our priority is to keep our consumers at the center of our focus, closely follow their needs and desires, and contribute to their happiness. We see that our high product quality, our approach to new product development and innovation, the importance we place on customer satisfaction, our wide product range, and our sense of responsibility to the community we belong to have made Ülker the most beloved brand in consumers' eyes. Even during the pandemic period, we continued uninterrupted production by closely following the 14 rules published by the Ministry of Health and additional rules, as well as guidance from all our ministries, maintaining communication with our consumers and supporting social projects. In the coming years, we will work to accompany our consumers on their good living journeys." Süheyl Aybar also drew attention to Ülker's contributions to good living and the country's economy, as well as significant work in the field of sustainability, stating: "Through our exports, employment, and investments, we try to support Turkey's sustainable growth strategy. Sustainability forms the foundation of how we conduct business. We set our 2024 roadmap to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development model and laid out our targets. We are moving forward with confident steps to reach our targets. We explain these through sustainability reports that we publish each year."Advertisement
