Siemens and Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Sign Cooperation Agreement

Siemens Healthineers and Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Hastanesi opened the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratories at Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Central and Dragos Hospitals and Fatih, Eyüpsultan and Sultangazi district outpatient clinics on 19 October 2022 as a result of their collaboration. Following the collaboration between Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Hastanesi and Siemens Healthineers, state-of-the-art innovative laboratory solutions were installed. The Clinical Biochemistry Laboratories of Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Central and Dragos Hospitals and Fatih, Eyüpsultan and Sultangazi district outpatient clinics, renewed with Siemens Healthineers, are meeting new high-standard requirements with new immunometric and clinical chemistry analyzer technologies that offer high speed, ease of use and world-standard result quality. The laboratories were opened on 19 October, with attendance from Siemens Healthineers Turkey General Manager Enis Sonemel, Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Siemens Healthineers Turkey Deputy General Manager responsible for Laboratory and Innovation Gürdal Şahin, and Bezmiâlem Vakıf Üniversitesi Hastanesi Medical School Medical Biochemistry Department Head Prof. Dr. Abdürrahim Koçyiğit.

In 1924, the Republic's first X-ray device was installed at what was then called Vakıf Gureba Hastanesi bearing the Siemens signature. The two institutions, which continue to lead in their respective fields in the health sector, collaborated once again to provide the best service to healthcare professionals and patients.
