Leading high-performance container and closure solutions provider Savillex announced the launch of a new series of PETG Square Media Bottles under the Purillex® brand. The PETG bottles are manufactured in ISO Class 7 facilities based in the United States and are now available for shipment within and outside the US. Designed for use in critical life sciences applications, Purillex PETG Square Media Bottles are available in both sterile and non-sterile formats in four sizes ranging from 125 mL to 1000 mL. [caption id="attachment_159242" align="aligncenter"] PETG Square Media Bottle[/caption] They are manufactured using a combination of injection and stretch blow molding to seamlessly replace competitive PETG media bottles. The RNase/DNase-free, non-cytotoxic resin used in Purillex PETG bottles produces an optically clear finished product with low leachable and extractable profiles while offering compatibility with a wide range of chemicals. The injection molding process provides excellent thread quality and high-integrity sealing, substantially reducing the risk of particulate contamination. Source
