Santa Farma Signs "CEO Statement for a Reinvigorated Global Cooperation"

Santa Farma signed the Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation, demonstrating its support for the United Nations (UN) and inclusive multilateralism. Santa Farma took pride in signing the "Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation" under the United Nations Global Compact, to which it is a signatory. More than 1,000 CEOs from over 100 countries backed the UN's call for renewed global cooperation. As the world continues to experience the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic during an unprecedented period, business commitments to achieving global cooperation have become more important than ever, and the UN statement received significant support from Turkish companies as well. The statement, developed by the UN Global Compact Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions Action Platform, was signed by the CEOs of 45 companies from Turkey. The CEOs who signed the joint statement announced at the UN Private Sector Forum held on 21 September as part of the UN General Assembly delivered the following message for a better world after Covid-19: "As business leaders, we recognize that peace, justice and strong institutions are beneficial for the long-term sustainability of our organizations, and that the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals form the foundation of success. We stand together for a better world."
