Santa Farma Receives "TSE Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate"

Santa Farma has received a "Safe Production" certificate from the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) during the standardisation process, awarded to companies that have passed inspections on measures to be taken in industrial facilities. Turkey's 75-year-old established domestic pharmaceutical company Santa Farma continues to serve its sector with reliable services. The facilities of Santa Farma located in the Kocaeli Gebze V (Chemistry) Specialty Organized Industrial Zone (GEBKİM OSB) have received the Safe Production Certificate issued by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) specifically for Covid-19. With this certificate, Santa Farma has once again proven that its production facilities have not been affected by the Covid-19 process and that it continues to carry out production activities without interruption under hygienic conditions.

We monitored the process with great care

Making a statement on the matter, Santa Farma Pharmaceutical Board Chairman Erol Kiresepi said: "As Santa Farma, we have received the 'Safe Production Certificate' issued by TSE specifically for Covid-19. We view this not as a certificate of achievement, but as proof of the sensitivity that our company has demonstrated towards public health since its establishment. We followed the Covid-19 pandemic process carefully from the very beginning, and we quickly implemented emergency action plans that we prepared in line with the principles of preventing the outbreak, protecting and controlling our employees and other stakeholders, and applied all necessary measures. Aware of the fact that we operate in a strategically important sector, we continued production without interruption and ensured that our society did not face difficulties in accessing medicines. We conducted this process by placing the health of our employees, stakeholders and society above all else, and we will continue to do so. During these difficult times, we would like to thank our employees once again for acting responsibly and consciously and complying with the measures."

Certificates are issued to inspected companies

TSE experts had prepared a "Covid-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guide" to support industrial enterprises in their fight against Covid-19. The guide, which serves as a roadmap for industrialists, not only guided companies in fighting the outbreak. The guide also enabled the documentation of companies' compliance with reliable and hygienic production standards, which was needed in the post-pandemic period. According to the guide; companies that have completed inspections are issued a "Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate" demonstrating that they conduct safe production.
