Santa Farma İlaç begins third-generation leadership transition

Santa Farma İlaç, one of Turkey's established domestic pharmaceutical companies, made a leadership change as it marked its 80th anniversary. Erol Kiresepi, Chairman of the Board of Santa Farma İlaç—ranked among Turkey's top 500 industrial enterprises—handed over the CEO position to Sami Kiresepi, a third-generation representative of the company. He noted that over 80 years the company has continuously monitored these changes and adapted its business models and management structures to comply with new competitive rules. "Since 1944, we have operated with unwavering determination and have been pioneers in the fields where we conduct our work. With our visionary perspective and solid corporate structure, we have earned a respected place in the global pharmaceutical sector. As Santa Farma İlaç, we are ready to move forward for many years to come, guided by the light of our experience and values and our new organizational structure. I wish my son Sami Kiresepi great success in his new role, and I hope this leadership transition will be auspicious for Santa Farma," he said. Sami Kiresepi, who has held various positions at Santa Farma İlaç since 2006, said: "I feel tremendous honor and excitement to have assumed the role of Santa Farma CEO as of 1 July and to take on this responsibility from my beloved father Erol Kiresepi.
