Sanofi's Entrepreneurship Program PharmUp Kicks Off

Sanofi's Entrepreneurship Program PharmUp Launches Sanofi's fourth cycle of PharmUp, an entrepreneurship program developed in collaboration with Endeavor Turkey to support innovative ideas that create added value in the healthcare sector, is now beginning. According to the schedule for the new cycle, which will take place in partnership with Endeavor, one of Turkey's established institutions in entrepreneurship, applications can be submitted until 7 April 2023 via sanofi.com.tr/tr/pharmup/pharmup-2023-basvuru. The new cycle application categories for PharmUp are Smart Health Devices and Diagnostic Solutions (wearable technologies and rapid testing tools), Medical Education and Communication Tools, Healthy Living Solutions, Digital Health and Telemedicine, Data Management and Analytics, and Corporate Digital Transformation. In the program where scalable, improvable and sustainable ideas in the healthcare sector are developed, selected startups will enter a 3-month acceleration period that includes mentoring support and training prepared in collaboration with Endeavor. One representative from each startup accepted into the program will have the opportunity to participate in the VivaTech conference to be held in Paris on 14-17 June under Sanofi sponsorship. After this period, startups that have matured their products will have the opportunity to present their companies to leading names in the sector on the program's final day (Demo Day), while entrepreneurs will be evaluated with possible partnership opportunities in mind.

16 entrepreneurs have participated in PharmUp since 2019

The program, which was first held in 2019, has received a total of 173 applications from entrepreneurs to date. Of these applications, 16 entrepreneurs selected for the program participated in PharmUp's acceleration period. At the end of this period, entrepreneurs who had the opportunity to mature their products presented their solutions for evaluation by PharmUp's jury members.
