Russia's COVID-19 Vaccine to Be Produced in Turkey

Russia announced that an agreement has been signed for the production of the coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V in Turkey.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) signed an agreement with a leading Turkish pharmaceutical company for the production of Sputnik V vaccine in Turkey. The transfer of technology necessary for production has begun. Cooperation with the company is being carried out within the framework of RDIF's mission to introduce Sputnik V vaccine to foreign markets.

SHIPMENTS TO BE MADE TO BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN MARKETS

There is potential production capacity of millions of doses annually, and the possibility of further increasing production in the future is also being discussed. The vaccine will be shipped to both the Turkish domestic market and other countries.   source
