Polifarma Becomes First Pharmaceutical Company in Turkey to Receive Parametric Release Approval

Polifarma, a domestic and national pharmaceutical company that has been producing in Turkey's healthcare sector for 34 years, has obtained Parametric Release Approval. As the first and only pharmaceutical company in Turkey to receive this approval, Polifarma has thereby certified its quality.

Polifarma Pharmaceutical, which is 100% domestically owned, successfully passed inspections conducted by the Ministry of Health and became the first and only pharmaceutical company in Turkey to obtain Parametric Release Approval. In doing so, Polifarma once again demonstrated the quality and safety of its process from raw material procurement through to final shipment for products whose process stage involves terminal sterilization. Commenting on the importance of the certificate, Polifarma Board Vice Chair Vildan Kumrulu said: "With sterile products, you cannot put the product on the market without conducting sterilization tests—meaning you are required by law to keep the product in your warehouse for 14 days while awaiting the test result. When you receive Parametric Release Approval from the Ministry of Health, it becomes possible to deliver your products to patients without having to wait the 14 days. We applied for Parametric Release Approval with the goal of being able to respond more quickly to market demand for the serum group, which constitutes a large part of our portfolio. Following the strict inspections conducted for the first time by the Ministry in our sector, we are justly proud to be the first company to qualify for this approval. Thanks to this approval, we are delivering all products in our serum group to patients as quickly as possible. In order not to compromise on the quality and reliability of our products, we continue to perform our sterilization tests. I hope this work of ours serves as an example for our sector."
