Kumrulu noted that Polifarma aims to create value not only in the healthcare field but also to make life more livable, ranging from education to sports, environment and other social issues.

Polifarma, Celebrating Its 35th Anniversary, Adopts "Life First" as Its New Motto

Polifarma, operating in the healthcare sector, is celebrating its 35th anniversary. The company has adopted its new motto as 'Life First' for its 35th year. Vildan Kumrulu, Chairman of the Board of Polifarma, made statements on the matter. Noting that while this motto may appear simple, it actually encompasses everything that life contains, Kumrulu said, "As Polifarma, we have a culture dedicated to saving and sustaining life. From the day we were founded, we have always focused on creating value, and always offering the best to our colleagues, society and our country. Our motto reflects the importance of human and public health, the need to continuously improve for this purpose, appreciating those who work in the healthcare field, while also encompassing science, art, sports, education, civil society and solidarity that will make life more livable" in his statement.

All Corporate Social Responsibility Projects Will Be Implemented Under the "Polifayda" Umbrella

Kumrulu stated that creating value is embedded in Polifarma's DNA and, in order to create more value, all corporate social responsibility projects they conduct will be implemented under the "Polifayda" umbrella. Describing the projects under the Polifayda umbrella, Kumrulu said, "We have established the Ecz. Necdet Nuri Kumrulu scholarship fund through collaboration with TED to create value in education. We are developing new projects in the field of value creation for nature and art. We will include our colleagues in our value creation activities, and we expect to see them more active in terms of social value outside of work life. Our work continues on our Polifayda ecosystem. With every step we take through Polifayda projects, we aim to provide more value." he stated.

Achieved 27 Percent Growth in Exports in 2021

Kumrulu emphasized that Polifarma has developed over 700 generic drugs in 35 years; providing more than 500 drugs to the healthcare sector in Turkey, more than 40 drugs to European Union countries and the United States. Kumrulu said, "We completed and inaugurated Turkey's most comprehensive and modern parenteral solution manufacturing facility as of March 2011. We expanded our branded exports from 22 countries in 2018 to 60 countries as of 2021, achieving good momentum. As of 2021, we achieved 27 percent growth in exports. In terms of turnover, we grew 41 percent compared to the previous year. During the pandemic period, we experienced the pride of sending products to European countries. With Turquality support, we aim to become a global brand by increasing our branded exports in the near future" in his statement.
