Polifarma receives Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate

Polifarma, a domestic and national pharmaceutical company that has been operating in Turkey's healthcare sector for 34 years, certified its safe production during the Covid-19 period. After passing inspections conducted by the Turkish Standards Institution, Polifarma Pharmaceutical, which was found to be conducting production in accordance with the Covid-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines, earned the right to receive a Safe Production Certificate. Polifarma Pharmaceutical, which is 100 percent domestically funded, earned the right to receive the Safe Production Certificate with international validity following inspections conducted by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) through the precautions it took at its production facilities against the coronavirus pandemic. With this certificate issued after the inspections, Polifarma demonstrated once again that it was conducting production in accordance with the Covid-19 Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines published by TSE and maintaining hygiene at the highest level. The Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate, which has international validity, is issued as a result of examining many issues such as whether measures within infection prevention and control action plans are being followed in all areas from production facility entrances and exits to cafeterias and offices, and whether cleaning and disinfection plans have been prepared. In an assessment regarding the matter, Polifarma Board of Directors Vice Chairman Vildan Kumrulu stated: "The entire world is going through a difficult period. During this process, as a domestic and national company, we continued our work without pause during the coronavirus period. We rolled up our sleeves for the treatment of the disease. We engaged in pharmaceutical production with special permission for use in the treatment of patients in intensive care who cannot be fed orally and took our place in the fight against coronavirus. Moreover, during this period we took all measures for the health and safety of our colleagues and their families. With the Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate issued after serious measures, we have now certified this."
