Pierre Fabre’s Corporate Social Responsibility Efforts Rated

ECOCERT Environment, an independent evaluator of company operations, recently assessed Pierre Fabre's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach according to ISO 26000 international standards, for the company's activities in pharmaceuticals, dermocosmetics and consumer health. Pierre Fabre achieved the highest level, "Excellence," in the ECOCERT 26000 reference standard on its initial evaluation, with a score of 77%. Group Chief Executive Officer Eric Ducournau: "Reaching the 'excellence' level in our first evaluation by ECOCERT Environment is the result of both the vision of Monsieur Pierre Fabre, a pioneer in sustainable development, and the daily efforts of our 11,000 employees to honor that vision. This evaluation will energize our efforts to achieve greater progress in matters of naturalness, transparency, scientific rigor and ethics for patients, consumers and healthcare professionals in the 130 countries where our brands operate," he said.
