P&G named top company in Turkey for eighth consecutive year in Advantage Group International's business relations and performance benchmarking survey covering the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

P&G was selected as Turkey's most successful company for the eighth consecutive year in the Advantage ReportTM Business Relations and Performance Benchmarking survey, conducted with the participation of retailers. Procter & Gamble (P&G) ranked first for the eighth consecutive time in 2020 in the annual survey conducted by Canada-based Advantage Group International with major retail chains, in the ranking of fast-moving consumer goods manufacturers and suppliers. [caption id="attachment_120149" align="aligncenter"] Celal Artüz[/caption] Celal Artüz, Vice Chairman of the Board responsible for Sales at Procter & Gamble Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia, said: "Being selected first without losing any of our performance even under pandemic conditions is a good indicator of how consistent our successful performance is. We are proud of this." In 2020, as the pandemic unfolded, citizens' need for fast-moving consumer goods and particularly hygiene products increased, while one of the most important challenges for manufacturing companies was ensuring production continuity while maintaining the entire supply chain. P&G, which has been operating in Turkey for over 30 years and produces brands such as Fairy, Ariel, Prima, Orkid and İpana, increased its exports by 20 percent during the first seven months of 2020, when the pandemic was most severely felt, through successful initiatives implemented during the pandemic period, and set production records. P&G Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia's success was recognized once again with a first-place ranking in the 2020 survey conducted by Canada-based Advantage Group International, which conducts research on suppliers' and retailers' performance.

According to Advantage Group International's survey, P&G Turkey was selected first once again in the "fast-moving consumer goods supplier" ranking among retail chains. P&G, which has not relinquished first place for eight consecutive years, once again demonstrated its ability to maintain successful performance even under difficult conditions.

Celal Artüz, Vice Chairman of the Board responsible for Sales at Procter & Gamble Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia, commented on P&G's first-place selection in this year's overall performance rating: "As P&G, we strive to understand both our consumers and stakeholders, and we operate within the highest ethical standards. This eight-year consecutive achievement is a fine example of how we have maintained these standards over the years. Moreover, being selected first without losing any of our performance even under pandemic conditions is a good indicator that our successful performance holds true even under challenging circumstances. We are proud of this." The seven categories included in the survey are: Strategic Alignment, People, Category Development, Consumer Marketing, Trade and Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. The average of these categories is determined as "Overall Performance."
