Novo Nordisk, managed by the world's largest foundation, earned the title of "Turkey's Best Employer" by being included in the Best Place to Work list determined by the Great Place to Work Institute in Turkey. This year, Novo Nordisk also ranked in the top five for the first time in the "Best Millennials List in Turkey" in the 250-500 employee category, with votes from Generation Y representatives who made up 41% of participants.

In addition to scientific research for disease treatment, Novo Nordisk conducts sustainability initiatives in the communities where it operates to improve patient lives, and operates with the mission of being a pioneer in overcoming diabetes and changing obesity, one of the greatest health challenges of the 21st century.
Novo Nordisk, notable for its rich heritage and established corporate culture, has been operating in Turkey since 1995 with an employer approach that prioritizes employee development, encourages initiative in leadership, and supports transparency, inclusivity and diversity.
Novo Nordisk Turkey Vice President and General Manager Dr. Burak Cem, stating "Our mission is to change and improve lives through pioneering treatments; and for this, our most valuable resource is our employees," made the following assessment:
"At Novo Nordisk, we are a global healthcare company dedicated to public health and managed by the world's largest foundation. With this commitment, alongside our commercial activities, we embarked on the mission to 'change human lives' to make our patients, the healthcare professionals we work with, and the society we live in more sustainable.
In doing this, we started first with our own colleagues and aimed to create a trusting environment where employees feel like family through the transparent and honest approach that is one of the most important elements of our corporate culture; while at the same time we worked with professional spirit and ambitious goals. The fact that both our employees have evaluated these efforts positively and they have been certified by an international organization showed us that we are on the right path and made us proud."
Novo Nordisk Turkey Senior Director of Human Resources Kutay Kavukçu made the following remarks regarding the company's employer brand approach: "By blending sustainability with a 100-year-old established corporate culture, we aim to be an employer that has been a pioneer of change since its founding.
We make great effort and determination to be the best employer for our employees. A transparent and inclusive work environment where our employees can develop their potential every day is essential for us. We have Human Resources practices that support our employees not only in terms of career but also as individuals, encourage them to take the initiative in leadership, and support them with feedback-based performance evaluation systems.
Our value-based approach to people and providing this environment to our employees is the most fundamental characteristic that distinguishes us from other companies. Being included in the Best Place to Work list, which encompasses Turkey's best employers, has become an important source of motivation for us to advance our work in this direction even further."
