Turkey Continues Push for Domestic Pharmaceutical Production

Localization Continues in Pharmaceuticals Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank laid the foundation for the "Plasma Products Obtaining Project," which will enable domestication in pharmaceuticals. Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank stated that plasma obtained from blood donations and currently unused will no longer be waste after the project is completed, making the following remarks: "Of course, the contributions of this project to the health of our citizens far exceed its economic contribution. We hope that under the leadership of Maxicells, Turkey's first blood products biology laboratory will also be established, and medicines used in the treatment of important diseases will be developed here."
