Pharmaceutical Sector Convenes at This Trade Fair
The 5th International Pharmaceutical Components and Raw Materials Fair Pharmaist is being organized for 31 May – 2 June 2023 to bring together national and international sector professionals at Istanbul Fair Centre with major trade associations, institutions and brands as exhibitors and visitors.
The platform, serving as a meeting point for domestic and foreign sector professionals showcasing the latest products and technologies in the pharmaceutical sector, one of the most important subsectors of the chemical industry, will offer participants the opportunity to interact with global brands to meet their chemical, raw material and technology procurement needs.
At the fair organized by Artkim Fuarcılık, which has become the sector's professional business platform, exhibitors will have the opportunity to encounter pharmaceutical raw materials and components, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), pharmaceutical additives and intermediates, turnkey projects, semi-finished products and additives and laboratory equipment, regulations, direct acquaintance and face-to-face meetings and business connections with potential customers.
At Pharmaist 2023, where many national and international organizations will present their new products and technologies, conferences, panels and workshops addressing the latest developments and innovations in the pharmaceutical sector worldwide and in Turkey, as well as current agenda topics in the sector, will shed light on the sector's future.

Cengiz Yaman, Chief Executive Officer of Artkim Fuarcılık, noted that interest in specialized trade fairs, which play an important role in establishing new business connections and entering new markets, is steadily increasing, stating: "The global pharmaceutical market reached USD 1.5 trillion in 2022. Turkey ranked 21st in the world in 2022. Turkish pharmaceutical exports completed 2022 at USD 1.92 billion with growth of 0.6 percent.
With 2022, the year when Turkey's exports set a record, pharmaceutical exports showed strong performance with 74.7 percent growth between 2015 and 2022. Pharmaist 2023 ranks among the largest specialized trade fairs supporting this important sector."
