Humanis Celebrates Its 11th Anniversary

Pharmactive İlaç, founded in 2011 by Founder Chairman Abdulrezzak Sancak with the motto "How fortunate is one who can remedy a suffering," is celebrating its 11th anniversary today under the name Humanis. With a broad product portfolio, Humanis provides services across many different therapeutic areas including pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonology, otolaryngology, internal medicine, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, dermatology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, orthopedics and emergency medicine. Following its entry into the rare diseases field in 2024, Humanis plans to expand into diabetes and central nervous system diseases by 2030. In 2023, Humanis added a "Quality of Life" perspective to its health approach and entered the Consumer Health field with dietary supplements and hair care products. Humanis operates one of Turkey's five largest pharmaceutical research and development centers promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with over 1,200 employees and a strong research and development team of approximately 100 people working to produce innovative healthcare solutions. Growing for 11 years by adding new achievements to its successes, Humanis has distinguished itself through its investments and production quality, expanding its success in the domestic market to the global market and becoming the first company to export pharmaceutical products from Turkey to China. Exporting to more than 25 countries across three continents and expanding its global impact, Humanis took a strong step in 2023 by establishing a new company in Germany to broaden its presence in the European market. Emphasizing that its targets extend into the future with a sustainability vision, Humanis continues to take important steps in shaping its production processes in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and using its existing resources efficiently for people, nature and the economy. As of the third quarter of 2022, Humanis sourced its total electricity consumption from solar panels installed on the roof area of its factory in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, making it the first domestic pharmaceutical company to raise awareness in this regard. When Humanis completes the land-based solar power system project it launched in 2023, it will source nearly all of its total electricity consumption from natural resources. Believing in the healing power of art and sports, Humanis continues to maintain its support in these fields. Taking inspiration from the cycling team founded by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to promote cycling sports, Humanis launched bicycle workshop activities and, with the support of over 1,200 employees, built 101 bicycles. In the 101st year of the Turkish Republic, in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Humanis met with earthquake-affected children aged 7–12 in need living in children's homes in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Malatya and Osmaniye provinces.
