GSK and iTeos Therapeutics Join Forces to Develop Next-Generation Immuno-Oncology Combinations GSK and iTeos Therapeutics have combined their efforts to develop and commercialize an anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibody that enables next-generation immuno-oncology combinations. Through this collaboration, GSK has strengthened its antibody portfolio targeting the CD226 immune checkpoint mechanism, which holds major significance for next-generation immuno-oncology treatments. GSK continues its research in oncology and works toward the pursuit of sustainable new treatments. In addition to immuno-oncology treatments that activate the immune system to fight cancer cells, GSK aims to maximize patient survival through transformative therapies by focusing on cancer epigenetics and synthetic lethality. GSK and iTeos Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company pioneering the discovery and development of next-generation immuno-oncology therapeutics, will work together on an anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibody currently in phase 1 development as a potential treatment for cancer patients. The partnership between GSK and iTeos Therapeutics will enable the development of immuno-oncology treatments that provide sustained benefit to cancer patients while allowing the exploration of various combinations with expertise in tumor immunology.
