Dulylife İlaç and BUÜ Announce Industry Cooperation

Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) management continues working to develop university-industry cooperation. Through a cooperation agreement signed between the university and Dulylife Pharmaceutical company, joint R&D and R&P projects will be implemented. A protocol was signed between BUÜ and Dulylife Pharmaceutical Food Cosmetics Agriculture Machinery Textile Import Export Manufacturing Trade Ltd. Co., which operates in the field of food supplements. Through the protocol implemented within the scope of university-industry cooperation, the aim is to carry out joint R&D and R&P projects, jointly use laboratory facilities available to both parties, meet required training equipment needs, and find scientific solutions to problems encountered in the sector.

University-Industry Cooperation

Nihal Sağlam, Deputy Director of Uludağ University Technology Transfer Office, was also present at the signing ceremony held between BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz and Dulylife Pharmaceutical company manager Lale Yıldız. Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz emphasized that they are open to all kinds of proposals for developing university-industry cooperation. Noting that they have been in dialogue with all segments of society for approximately 3 years, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz stated: "From the first day we took office, we have strived to create a university model that is student-friendly, pursues academic excellence, and serves society. We put the qualified human resources we have trained and the scientific and technological data we have produced at the service of society. Thanks to these characteristics, we have come to occupy the position of Bursa's true scientific mind. University-industry cooperation is among the work areas to which we attach special importance. We have begun to come to the fore with our efforts in this field. We view every cooperation that will be carried out as a new academic and scientific research opportunity. We believe that the protocol we signed today will lead to beneficial results," he said. Prof. Dr. A. Saim Kılavuz noted that every study conducted within the scope of university-industry cooperation should also be evaluated as an activity to be carried out for the benefit of society and the country, stating: "Universities should always look out for the benefit of society. It is necessary to reflect the outputs of the scientific studies to be conducted through these cooperations to society. I express our gratitude to our company and the academics who will work in this field for the cooperation," he added. Lale Yıldız also stated that they feel greatly honored to be conducting scientific cooperation with Bursa Uludağ University. Noting that as a company they carry out production and marketing activities in the field of food supplements, Lale Yıldız stated that with the support provided by the university, they believe they will prepare more efficient projects regarding R&D. Following the statements, the parties signed the cooperation protocol.
