Dow Chemical Donates $3 Million to Fight COVID-19

Dow Chemical Company announced that it will provide USD 3 million in support to aid the COVID-19 relief efforts of non-profit organizations in the sectors where Dow operates, in addition to its donations to global relief organizations.

Relief Work Details

USD 2 million in funds to address the impacts caused by COVID-19 covers the following assistance: - Contribution to the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund to support the World Health Organization's (WHO) efforts worldwide. - Donation to Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization, to distribute medical supplies. - Support for local and regional non-profit organizations in Dow communities around the world.

USD 1 million for community recovery

- 600,000 bottles for pharmacies and hospitals in Germany and other regions of Germany. Monthly production of 300 tons of hand sanitizer. - Retrofitting an existing facility in the United States to produce hand sanitizer Dow Chemical CEO Jim Fitterling said, "At Dow, safety is our top priority.
