Ingrun Alsleben Appointed New CEO of Bayer Türkiye
Bayer has appointed Ingrun Alsleben as CEO and CFO of Bayer Turkey effective 1 September 2021.
Throughout her career at Bayer, Ingrun Alsleben has worked and lived in many different countries. She began her professional career in 1997 at the company's headquarters in Germany.
Assigned to Bayer's office in Beijing, China's capital, in 1999, Alsleben held positions with increasing responsibility over 13 years in the Greater China region in corporate services and in the company's Health Products division.
Between 2005 and 2012, Ingrun Alsleben served as CFO of Bayer Hong Kong. During her time in Hong Kong, she held the position of Vice President of the German Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong and served on the jury of the American Chamber of Commerce's Women of Achievement Committee.
Alsleben returned to Germany in 2013 and took on responsibility for the Latin America, Africa and Middle East regions within Bayer AG's Regional Coordination unit. In 2017, Asia-Pacific was added to the regions under her responsibility, and during this period Ingrun Alsleben served on various management and executive boards of Bayer in the region. In 2017 she was appointed as CFO of Bayer Italy and held this position until August 2021.
Hubert Braun, who has served as CEO and CFO of Bayer Turkey since 2014 and whose duties Ingrun Alsleben is now assuming, retired after a Bayer career spanning more than 30 years.
