BASF Pharmaceutical Solutions Seminar held

BASF's Pharmaceutical Solutions Division shared its sustainability and innovation-focused approaches with leading representatives of the pharmaceutical industry at a seminar held on 14 May at Conrad Hotel Istanbul under the title "Inspiring Medicines for Better Lives," presenting different stakeholder perspectives. The seminar, which opened with remarks by BASF Turkey General Manager and Turkey & Azerbaijan & Georgia Country Group Head Tolga Demirözü, hosted more than 150 participants. At the seminar attended by government representatives, sectoral associations, universities, customers and experts from BASF Germany, BASF conveyed personalized solutions that also contribute to its customers' sustainability goals. In his opening remarks, Tolga Demirözü highlighted BASF's sustainable innovation approach and explained the company's contributions to the pharmaceutical industry, which is highly open to new technologies and innovation. As part of the seminar, Vice President of the Presidential Investment Office Bekir Polat also delivered remarks and presented Turkey's vision for international direct investment. International Investors Association Secretary General Serkan Valandova shared valuable information on the importance of innovation and international investment in the pharmaceutical industry.

Latest developments in biotechnology presented

Among the speakers was Prof. Dr. Özge Can Aslan, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Acıbadem University, who presented recent developments in the biotechnology field and shared insights from innovative work being conducted in this area. Dr. Martin Jochen Klatt, Vice President responsible for BASF Pharmaceutical Solutions Europe sales team, emphasized in his remarks that growth together with customers and meeting their future needs is only possible under the umbrella of innovation and sustainability.

At the seminar where experts from BASF Germany also shared technical information, Tanju Cepheli, Sales Director responsible for BASF Pharmaceutical Solutions Turkey and Middle East, drew attention to the importance of innovation brought by digitalization.
