We aim to be one of Turkey's strategic institutions in public-university-industry-start-up cooperation
Doğan Taşkent, explaining that they continue doctoral programs in industry by receiving TÜBİTAK 2244 projects, stated: "With TÜBİTAK 2244, the aim is to develop qualified human resources with doctoral degrees needed in industry through university-industry cooperation, to encourage the employment of doctoral researchers in industry, and to develop university-industry cooperation. We aim to be a company that enables working under the same roof with start-ups and academics that develop and conduct R&D on innovative chemical, plant-based, and biotechnological active pharmaceutical ingredients, finished pharmaceutical products and vaccines, and that holds the end-to-end value chain in this field. Within this framework, we accept as our basic philosophy developing the strategic products necessary for our country and creating social and economic value, while also being able to provide treatment to everyone in need without harming humanity and all of nature. Thanks to cooperation-oriented working methods, we aim to be one of Turkey's strategic institutions in public-university-industry-start-up cooperation by combining academic knowledge and start-up concepts and innovative approaches with industry's production and development capabilities," he explained. Turkey's 10 universities with which Atabay develops public-university-industry cooperation projects work with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center on strategic R&D projects. Through its membership in the University-Industry Cooperation Center Platform – ÜSİMP, Atabay strengthens its collaborations with many University Technology Transfer Offices and Technoparks in our country.
