What Can Interior Air Pollution in Cars Cause?

According to research conducted in California, a child spends 10 percent of their day on a school bus; however, even though the time a child spends in the service vehicle is short, it increases their daily exposure to air pollutants by 33 percent.

The air inside cars, which collects toxic gases from all surrounding vehicles, becomes 9 to 12 times dirtier than outside air. Experts say that poor indoor air quality in vehicles can harm children's lungs and learning ability. For this reason, the air you breathe in your vehicle during travel consists of volatile organic compounds. Nowadays, fibrous air filters used in automobile cabin air filter housings, despite their various advantages, are insufficient in capturing ultra-fine dust particles. For this reason, the filtration media used in cabin air filters must be developed using nanotechnology to ensure clean air circulation in car cabins.

It captures more than 90 percent of harmful particles such as viruses, dust, and pollen.
