Award-Winning Project: Viral Agenda Provides Access to Accurate COVID-19 Information
Since 2002, the Stevie International Business Awards, presented in 8 different divisions with relevant subcategories, receive nominations from more than 12,000 individuals, companies, projects and initiatives. Abdi İbrahim placed two awards on the winners list determined following the evaluation of a panel consisting of 260 professional judges from around the world this year. The Viral Agenda communication initiative, which won a bronze award in the Year's Communication/Public Relations Campaign field, was launched to eliminate misinformation during the pandemic and address the need for access to accurate information. The Viral Agenda project, which aimed to deliver current and scientific information primarily to physicians, healthcare workers and the general public in more accessible language, involved scanning hundreds of articles on COVID-19 appearing worldwide each week to prepare the most accurate content. Viral Agenda, prepared by a team of doctors from various specialties within Abdi İbrahim's Medical Directorate, was regularly distributed weekly via email, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to both 4,600 employees within the company and the target audience. Through this project, the spread of unscientific or unverified information was also prevented.Advertisement
