Abdi İbrahim, operating in the pharmaceutical sector for 110 years with the aim of improving lives, has won another important international award with its 5th Sustainability Report. The 5th Sustainability Report titled "The Healing Journey from Past to Future" was awarded the Grand Prize, the highest award in the Annual Report category at NYX Awards 2022, ranked among the world's most prestigious creativity awards.
Abdi İbrahim's sustainability efforts, to which it attaches great importance, continue to bring prestigious awards. Abdi İbrahim's 5th Sustainability Report, which covers 2019-2020 and outlines the company's contributions and targets for the world, society, economy and pharmaceutical sector, received the Grand Prize, the highest award in the Annual Report category at NYX Awards 2022, one of the world's most prestigious creativity awards held to honour communications design professionals and creative individuals and celebrate their work. The report also became the first report from Turkey to win an award in the Annual Report category at NYX Awards.
NYX Awards, organized by International Awards Associates (IAA) since 2018, is a leading international awards programme that accepts thousands of outstanding submissions from over 60 countries each year to support, recognize, celebrate and honour excellence in marketing, communications and creativity. This year, with over 1,200 projects competing from around the world, the international jury comprising 31 independent professionals evaluated projects based on criteria such as creativity, concept, idea, content quality, production, execution, innovation, effectiveness and overall experience.

Abdi İbrahim's 5th Sustainability Report had previously received the Platinum Prize, the highest award in the Annual Report category at Muse Creative Awards 2022, where the world's most creative ideas and projects are evaluated, and the Gold Prize, the highest award in the Sustainability Report category at Istanbul Marketing Awards 2021, one of the year's most exciting marketing awards. Abdi İbrahim's Sustainability Report, structured on the basis of GRI standards, the European Green Deal and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as sustainability studies such as Materiality Analysis and Organizational Life Cycle Analysis (O-LCA) conducted with the participation of stakeholders, was designed with nine strategic themes under the headings "Past" and "Future". The message "The Healing Journey from Past to Future" was visualized through collages addressing these nine themes. In the visual references relating to Abdi İbrahim's past, present and future vision, collages bearing traces of the past were framed with the visual language of today's digital world. The report, prepared by "Editorial", features illustrations on its cover and separators designed by renowned collage artist Selman Hoşgör. The photographs of Abdi İbrahim's facilities and headquarters in the report were taken by renowned architectural photographer Cemal Emden. The report, which transparently conveys Abdi İbrahim's systematic and comprehensive projects, performance and targets conducted in the corporate, environmental, social and governance areas during 2019-2020, is compatible with the digital world, in horizontal format, user-friendly and features interactive elements. Abdi İbrahim's 5th Sustainability Report is Turkey's first corporate sustainability report to pass the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) SDG Mapping Service. It also includes progress under the UNGC 11th Communication on Progress, the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Communication on Progress and the UNGC CEO Water Mandate. The report, containing qualitative and quantitative data covering Abdi İbrahim's headquarters, production facilities and field business units in Turkey, provides detailed information on the systematic and comprehensive projects and targets conducted with the company's internal and external stakeholders. With illustrations designed by Selman Hoşgör in its 5th Sustainability Report, Abdi İbrahim entered the NFT world and created a collection called "The Journey of Healing" on the OpenSea platform, marking a first in the global pharmaceutical sector. Abdi İbrahim will transfer the revenue it will obtain from this NFT collection to the Contemporary Life Support Association's "I Have a Daughter in Anatolia" project to support girls' education. Through this step, Abdi İbrahim aims to contribute to the development of strong women of the future and to raise public awareness about equal access to education for all students without discrimination and access to contemporary education.
