Vegetables By Bayer Launched
Bayer has created a new brand identity called "Vegetables by Bayer" by uniting its two brands Seminis and De Ruiter under a single common purpose.
Under the Seminis and De Ruiter brands, Bayer has provided modern solutions to producers for many years across different types of open field and protected cultivation production areas with more than 20 different products and thousands of innovative seed varieties. Through the new "Vegetables by Bayer" brand identity, Bayer commits to delivering deeper value to producers, business partners, consumers and the world at every step forward through expanding collaborations, yield-enhancing objectives, and investments focused on innovation and sustainability.
Inci Dannenberg, President of Bayer Global Vegetable Seeds, commented on the new brand identity: "The new 'Vegetables by Bayer' brings together Bayer's first-class expertise and resources, enabling us to deliver value to our customers and business partners in new and exciting ways through our Seminis and De Ruiter brands."
2021 Fruit and Vegetable Year
Dannenberg noted that the new brand launch coincided with the United Nations' announcement of "2021 Fruit and Vegetable Year," which aims to raise awareness about the benefits of fruit and vegetable consumption: "'Vegetables by Bayer' – from our industry-leading R&D to specialized solutions that go beyond seeds to meet the market's evolving needs – reflects our commitment to helping our customers grow their businesses and thereby develop a healthier, more sustainable world," he said.Advertisement
