Ulusoy Un Becomes Turkey's 84th Largest Company

Ulusoy Un rose two positions in Capital magazine's "Top 500 Companies" survey of Turkey's largest enterprises, ranking as the country's 84th biggest firm based on sales revenue of TRY 20.434 billion achieved in 2022 compared to the previous year. According to the survey, Ulusoy Un maintained its 4th position among companies operating in the food and beverage sector in Turkey, confirming its strong standing. Ranked as Turkey's 247th largest exporter according to TIM1000 and 69th company according to Fortune500, Ulusoy Un also became the country's 84th largest firm according to Capital magazine's Capital500 survey. Ulusoy Un closed 2022 with sales revenue of TRY 20.434 billion, climbing two positions in the rankings compared to 2021. As in previous years, the company is shown as Samsun's largest firm according to the Capital500 survey. It further solidified its position as Turkey's 4th firm among food and beverage companies, which play a leading role in the rankings. Ulusoy Un posted a 120% increase in sales revenue compared to 2021 and employs 848 people. Having purchased a new flour mill in Hatay Antakya Organized Industrial Zone in April and made headlines with its recent renewable energy projects, Ulusoy Un is listed among Turkey's largest 100 companies by the country's most reputable publications.

Ulusoy Un Board Chairman Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy made the following comments on the matter;

"As Ulusoy Un, we now aim to position ourselves as a global producer not only in flour, but across the entire flour and flour products category. In the coming period, we want to be present throughout the chain from wheat to table, particularly on the consumer side. The most important step we have taken in this regard was our acquisition of Söke, completed in January 2022. Our goal is to expand and grow the retail products, or consumer products experience that Söke brought us within the flour and flour products category. While continuing to strengthen our exports with shipments to our 101st country in recent days, with our new mill acquisition in Hatay in April, our total production capacity will reach 4,200 tons per day, allowing us to maintain our position as the leader in Turkey's flour market and by far the largest flour producer."
