Ülker Acquires Önem Gıda from Yıldız Holding to Consolidate Production Ülker has acquired Önem Gıda, a Yıldız Holding company from which it has procured semi-finished products for years. With this acquisition, Ülker has consolidated all production processes for chocolate and flour-based products under one roof, marking another significant step in its sustainable growth strategy. Ülker Bisküvi has acquired Önem Gıda A.Ş., a Yıldız Holding company that supplies key raw materials including chocolate paste, flour and hazelnuts. Following the acquisition, which was also announced to the Public Disclosure Platform, Ülker Bisküvi has integrated Önem Gıda into its operations to achieve superior synergies in its core categories of chocolate and flour-based products and to strengthen the company's sustainable and profitable growth. Önem Gıda operates chocolate paste, cocoa powder, drops, flakes and couverture chocolate production in Istanbul Topkapı; hazelnut processing and hazelnut paste production in Giresun; and flour production in Ankara and Karaman, positioning it at the center of Ülker's raw material supply chain.
