Teksüt Raises Number of Countries It Exports Products to 37
Teksüt, which has been steadily increasing its exports, has raised the number of countries it supplies to 37. The company has expanded its export range to Singapore, Japan and China in Asia; and to the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland in Europe.
Teksüt Board Vice Chairman Mert Özmen said the company sells white cheese, labne and çeçil cheese to Japan, and mozzarella and triangular cheese to China.
Teksüt, one of Turkey's largest dairy and dairy products companies exporting milk and cheese varieties to 37 countries, has brought its export map to the point with the highest number of countries.
Teksüt began exporting in 1997 when it first shipped products to the United States, and later added Japan—a country nearly 8,500 kilometres away—to its export portfolio, followed by China.
Teksüt Board Vice Chairman Mert Özmen made the following statement on the matter:
"We are working to ensure that our exports grow continuously and regularly and that new countries are added to our export portfolio. We regularly sell our products to Europe, America, Middle East and Asian countries. We started exporting to Japan and then China in 2021. We are reaching the export targets we set this year. While we were exporting to 23 countries at the beginning of 2021, this number increased to 28 during the year. As of today, we have reached 37 countries across 4 continents. Within this framework, we aim to generate 15% of our turnover from exports."We bring our local flavours to different countries around the world
Mert Özmen said, "In the Far East, we previously sent products to Taiwan, and then introduced Teksüt flavour to Singapore and Japan. To Singapore, which does not have a widespread cheese culture, we send labne, lor, strained cheese and local cheese varieties such as dil, çeçil and Antep. We export a total of 8 items to Japan including white cheese, labne, kaşar cheese and local cheese varieties. We bring our local flavours to different countries around the world with Teksüt quality, including at the far end of Europe in the United Kingdom and Denmark."Which countries consume Teksüt products?
