Sustainable Food Summit to Take Place on 17-18 October
Turkey Food Manufacturers' Employers' Association (TÜGİS) and Sustainability Academy will host the 9th edition of the Sustainable Food Summit on 17-18 October this year.
The Sustainable Food Summit, which brings together all stakeholders of the food sector annually, will be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Turkish Republic and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The summit will feature sessions covering various topics including the causes and solutions to food inflation in Turkey, sustainable growth strategies in food exports, and other related subjects.
The summit will bring together numerous experts in the field, with speakers ranging from government officials to business leaders, academics to NGO representatives.
Organised jointly by Turkey Food Manufacturers' Employers' Association (TÜGİS) and Sustainability Academy, the Sustainable Food Summit continues in its ninth year to bring together all stakeholders of the food sector to address the future of food.
The summit, which brings together all stakeholders of the food sector, will be held under the theme "Transformation for the Future of Food: A Healthy Planet, Healthy People" with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Turkish Republic and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The summit will comprehensively address various topics in the food sector, with sessions covering the causes and solutions to food inflation in Turkey, sustainable growth strategies in food exports, and other relevant subjects.

Kaan Sidar, Chairman of the Board of Turkey Food Manufacturers' Employers' Association (TÜGİS), one of the hosts of the event, made the following statement regarding the summit's ninth edition: "At the Sustainable Food Summit, we will once again bring together leading figures in the field to hold sessions that generate solutions to important agendas. As TÜGİS, we conduct collective work on food issues. We consider both today and tomorrow at every step of food, which is the most basic human need. Our speakers will share both their expertise and solution-generating ideas in this context." Murat Sungur Bursa, Chairman of Sustainability Academy, said: "We are coming together with our stakeholders at the Sustainable Food Summit this year to address every step of sustainable food and create solution-oriented steps.
