Sustainable Food Platform's Membership Base Expands

Nestle, Tekfen Tarım, Elif Plastik, Hero Türkiye, Schneider Electric, Abalıoğlu Yağ, Carrefoursa, and Signify have joined the Sustainable Food Platform as new members. The Sustainable Food Platform, established to accelerate change in food systems in line with the goal of healthy, safe and better food for all, continues to grow with its new members. The platform, which aims to lead the food sector with a responsible production and consumption motto and a holistic approach, targets working together with all institutions in the value chain based on the principle of inclusivity of the food ecosystem. Among the brands that are members of the platform founded by Sustainability Academy are: Aromsa, Balparmak, Chep Türkiye, Danfoss, Eker, Eriş Un, G&T Enerji, Hayat, İntertek, La Lorraine, Lesaffre, Leroy, Kalite Sistem Mérieux NutriSciences, Metro, Migros, Muratbey, Pınar, Reis, Sütaş, Uludağ İçecek, and Ülker. With the recent addition of Schneider Electric, Tekfen Tarım, Signify, Nestle, Hero Türkiye, Abalıoğlu Yağ, Elif Plastik, and CarrefourSa, the number of members has reached 29. The platform, which brings together institutions targeting sustainable food systems for a better future, conducts work on five main topics: Food Waste, Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable Food Packaging, Traceability and Transparency, and Future Food Systems. Since last year, the Sustainable Food Platform has also organized webinars with the goal of informing the food sector and all stakeholders monthly. Bringing together through online webinars, the Sustainable Food Platform will hold a webinar on Digitalization in the Agricultural Sector on 27 May.
