Practice Better Acquires That Clean Life
Practice Better, a leading all-in-one practice management software platform for health and wellness professionals, announced today that it has acquired That Clean Life, a Toronto-based nutrition planning software for health and wellness professionals.
The acquisition will enable Practice Better customers to seamlessly integrate nutrition planning and healthy eating into their client workflows and client care plans. This move strengthens Practice Better's practice management platform that helps health and wellness professionals enable their clients to live better lives.
Practice Better CEO Kim Walsh said "Practice Better's decision to acquire That Clean Life stemmed from a significant opportunity to serve our shared communities, reinforced by customer demand. It is always exciting to listen to our customers' feedback and solve the challenges they face.
This acquisition will enable us to deliver an integrated platform that will help our customers live better lives by integrating our products, culture, and teams," he added and continued "This is a major step toward our strategic vision of becoming the all-in-one platform and preferred community for health and wellness professionals, and it positions us differently to support our next growth phase."
That Clean Life Co-Founder Abigail Keeso said, "When it comes to nutrition, one size does not fit all." "We are thrilled to join the Practice Better team to make it even easier for health and wellness professionals to provide sustainable nutrition guidance and improve patient outcomes in personalized nutrition, the future."
Earlier this year, Practice Better closed a USD 27 million investment led by Five Elms Capital, aimed at supporting the company as it enters its next growth phase. In the same month, Kate O'Brien was hired as Human Resources Manager and Kim Walsh assumed his position as the company's new CEO.
"As Five Elms, we believe in partnering with and investing in software companies that users love. The Practice Better team has a mission to enhance the experience for health and wellness providers and individuals, and we believe that nutrition is a core principle of how we can help create change in customer outcomes," he said.
"We are excited to help facilitate the combination of the teams and products at Practice Better and That Clean Life, and we are excited to see all the ways our customers will experience how we will enhance our product offering."
